Finally the rumors have been put to rest and we have a word from none other than James Gunn himself. After the fans got the tragic news of Henry Cavill no more being cast as the Superman, James Gunn has confirmed names of both the actors who will play the iconic roles of Clark & Lois. That means, David Corenswet is the new Superman.

David Corenswet is a 29 years old American actor popular for playing in Netflix’s television series House of Cards and The Politician. Rachel Brosnahan is a 32 years old American actress who is popular for playing many television series including House of Cards.
While this definitely is going to be a part of their career that could give them a huge break, both of them have to fill in big shoes. After Henry Cavill was dropped from the Superman series, fans have been upset and outrageous taking it to social media. While it could be a lot for David, the hopes are high that he will live up to the expectations.
